"The Last Thing I Wanted, The First Thing I Do" was inspired by a character Minta Brice and I have collaborated on. We wanted to capture who "she" is in her head, who she is in her day dreams. We were musically inspired by The National and Stevie Nicks. The images below portray a hopeless romantic with desires she chases one second but can't find the next, she relies on her shaky self to justify decisions and explain wordless feelings, all in efforts to find some type of control in a world that offers none.
